So excited to be sharing this swoon worthy wedding with you all! This couple was an absolute dream to work with! Not only because of their personal style (uhhhh the freshly picked blooms placed all throughout her stunning hair?!) but also because of their sweetness, respect, and playfulness they have between each other! Katie and Spencer are one of those couples where you think of them, and think “Ug, they are such a good match!” And now they are the couple were you think of them and think “Ug, that was such an awesome wedding!!” 🙂
There is something so special when bride’s and groom’s have their weddings at their childhood homes! Especially when your childhood home has landscapes as stunning as these!:) Katie grew up on this farm and had a passion for animals and being creative. Which you can see are totally incorporated with the vision and style of their day. Even their bouquets were flowers picked freshly from a farm, and put together by each bridesmaid the night before! Katie’s dad was telling the story of how they had been considering different venue options for Spencer and Katie’s day, and when they finally landed on a decision, Katie’s dad noticed that she was “moping around the house” and when asked why the bad mood, she said “I just want to have our wedding at home on the farm!” Katie’s family then knew they were going to have to make this vision happen, including turning the horse barn into a dance hall + an area for the band! And I couldn’t have agreed with their decision more!! With the picturesque landscapes and Katie and Spencer genuine and down to earth personalities, their wedding just felt so perfect for them!!!
