Can I just say how much I love my brides. Bobbi and Colemann did not plan to have snow on their wedding day, but with Iowa, you never know. And just as I was driving to their venue that morning, giant white snowflakes started to fall.
I was thrilled about it, and luckily Bobbi didn’t skip a beat, and embraced it with complete grace and positivity. This bride wast about to let something she couldn’t control effect what was most important to her that day:
marry the man she says is even better then she ever dreamt.

We had the perfect winter wonderland backdrop picked out for their first look. A castle in the woods.. Yup, pretty great. And I will never forget as our vehicle slipped and sled through the snowy trails to get to this place, looking up at Bobbi… sitting in the front seat perfectly composed, just excited to see her soon-to-be-hubby as I sat in the backseat hoping we would be off these narrow, slick trails soon!:) Yup, that’s how awesome she is!:) We made it back to a beautiful and heartfelt ceremony. Full of personal touches, and sweet tributes to her late father looking down from above.
Bobbi and Colemann are such sweet people, and I’m so glad I got to meet them! Another reason I love this job! They are a beautiful couple inside and out, and as you can see in some of their photos, the happiness just pours out of them! Looking forward to staying in touch with them in the future! Enjoy a few of my favorites from their day.
