One of the best things about being a photographer… I get to be let in on the secrets early!! Really exciting secrets!!:) I was beyond happy when Jordan came to me and said he was thinking about proposing to my sister while all of our family was going to be together in Jamaica for my parent’s 30th wedding anniversary! From the very beginning I saw how happy this guy made, and continue to makes my sister! I’m so excited these two were brought together a short time ago, and have been insanely crazy about each other ever since! We couldn’t be more excited to have him join our family!!

Now for where it would all go down! With the beach being somewhat crowded, and the occasional speedo man in the background, we started to consider the tropical gardens as the actual proposal location. Eventually the privacy, intimacy, lighting, and a trail perfectly lined with palm trees, won the award as the perfect spot. (Also, there were more places to hide behind than on the beach!:) 

As if Jamaica isn’t beautiful enough, Jordan worked with the resort to line up a few additional touches for this once in a lifetime moment! With candles, rose petals, and Brittany’s favorite song playing in the background (SafetySuit- Never Stop), the tears started flowing, there was an emotional proposal on one knee, and a “Yes!”
